Why You Should Write in 2023

Writing has become a large part of our lives. We get information by what people have written.

There is a wealth of information available online about starting a blog and the benefits and significance of blogging. It cannot be overemphasized.

This is my first blog post, and I am excited to be starting one. One of my goals for 2023 is to blog every two weeks.

Blogging is writing about anything. There is a vast array of things that can be written about, which is not exhaustive. The human mind is so creative and full of ideas that understanding our lifestyles, activities, cultures, and daily experiences from each individual’s perspective is necessary.

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie talked about “the dangers of a single story.”

If we don’t talk about our stories, no one else will. People can only believe a story that has been told to them or written down. Write even though you’re not a professional; your story counts and is original. You can only improve your writing by writing.

One day, the world will make use of that story.

I want to tell my story from my perspective and from the perspective of my experiences. I also want to help people access the right information with my blogs.

Travelling is a great adventure, it improves ones mental health and well-being.
There is so much excitement going to a new city, learning a different culture and seeing how people do things in different ways. It broadens our perspective and acceptance of others, we learn to live in the moment.
I love travelling.
I was born in Ibadan, Oyo State, raised in Cross River State, studied in Igbesa, Ogun State and currently living in Lagos State and have been to several states in the Country. I hope to travel more and see more tourist sites.
My first tourist site out of the country would be the United States of America.As one of the largest and diverse countries in the world, the United States has amazing tourist destinations such as Grand Canyon, Manhattan, Yellow stone and many more. It would be an opportunity to mix with the people, learn the diverse cultures, history and food.
There is so much to gain travelling. Travelling and Tourism is Life.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
